I was embraced into the Thistle Court family in October 2019 as Home Manager. In all my years spent working in the care sector I have truly never felt more at home than I do here.

Alongside my clinical background in nursing I have extensive experience in the training and development within the care sector. I’m excited to support the team throughout our Evolve Academy Training that is entrenched in the Thomas Kitwood person-centred approach to care, recognising the importance of a person’s emotional wellbeing alongside that of their health needs.

The Thistle Court team achieve this by getting to know, understand and appreciate everyone who lives with us as an individual. Understanding a person’s identity; their past occupations, their hobbies, their routines and life memories, enable our team to form deep, meaningful relationships and connections with those who choose to live with us.

I would love to show you around our home and discuss my vision for bringing the home to life. We are working on creating a warm, inviting and homely environment for all who live with us. I will assist you in any way I can when making the decision to move into full-time or short-term care.
